Sailor 4300 is the first Iridium Certus certified marine terminal from Cobham offering the fastest speeds ever available with Iridium. Vessels of all sizes will find the system adequate for multi-user internet access, reporting, emails, crew communication and telemedicine.
As with all Cobham products the Sailor 4300 is easy to install and built to last with no scheduled servicing necessary for 10 years.
Bulkhead and 19" rackmount mounting options are available.
Cobham Sailor 4300 provides dependable global maritime communications for users to stay connected whilst at sea, anywhere in the world. Through the Iridium Certus® broadband service, VesseLINK operates on a network with over 66 satellites that cover 100% of the globe, including deep oceans and polar regions.
The Cobham Sailor solution utilises Iridium Certus® to provide a highly reliable service for mobile and voice, text and web communications for all crew.
Cobham Sailor 4300 provides data speeds of up to 704kbps, and streaming data speeds of up to 256 kbps.
The Cobham Sailor 4300 is suitable for data-heavy applications including; videoconferencing, multi-user Internet/VPN, IoT and telemedicine, alongside regular usage including email, electronic forms/reporting and crew communication.
The Sailor 4300 is designed for seamless integration with onboard communication networks, making it an ideal solution for VSAT service providers to provide a cost-effective, high-speed secondary/back-up communications channel. SAILOR 4300 provides this capability using a specially designed, easy to configure VSAT integrator 'smart box'.
To remain connected and ensure safety on board, the Thales VesseLINK safety services include location tracking, telemedicine capabilities and voice and data-enabled features to deliver voice communications, to up to 3 dedicated channels.
There is no scheduled service with the Cobham Sailor 4300 and no maintenance for at least 10 years after installation.
